Sports in Sandown, NH
This drama is one of the greatest tragedy-themed
plays by William Shakespeare. Othello is a
highly-esteemed general in the service of Venice,
Italy. Iago is Othello's ambitious friend. Othello
promotes Michael Cassio to the position of personal
lieutenant, and Iago is deadly jealous. Iago begins
an evil and malicious campaign against the hero.
Othello elopes with the beautiful Desdemona, but
Iago decides to plot against them, providing Othello
with false beliefs and leading him to become
suspicious of his lover. He confides in Iago that he
plans to poison Desdemona, and plots and murders
ensue while Othello returns to the castle to kill
his ultimately innocent wife.

Mom and Dad are finally ready to tie the
knot! Unfortunately, their special day is in
the hands of their three inept sons.
Thankfully, childhood friend Rhonda is there
to keep
the boys in line and be the sole voice of
reason. Rhonda has been carrying a torch for
one of the sons for far too long, but he
cannot get over his ex-wife, who divorced
him two years ago, and has long since moved
on - in fact, she is attending the wedding
with her new boyfriend. Chaos ensues when
the tuxedos do not arrive, the rectory is
filled with birdseed, and one son is nursing
a monumental hangover. This fast-paced
comedy written by award-winning seacoast
playwright Greg Gaskell will be adjudicated
for the New Hampshire Theatre Awards.

Applegate) for a chance to lead her favorite team to
victory in the race for the pennant against the New
York Yankees. As young baseball sensation Jo Hardy,
she transforms the hapless Washington Senators into
a winning team, only to realize the true worth of
the life and the husband she left behind. Light,
fast-paced, and devilishly clever, "Damn Yankees" is
a home-run hit whose all-American subject matter are
irreverent sense of humor have brought many a sports
fan into the theater.
